A Message from BGSU 总福利主任
At Bowling Green State University, we are dedicated to the health and wellness of our Falcon family, 邻居和朋友.
Whether you are a 教师 or staff member or student, we can all be accountable for creating a supportive community where we can recognize if an individual is in need of help. 健康y living is part of designing the life you want to lead. We focus on integrating ways to support students, 教师 and staff across campus, 身体上的, 精神上和情感上, 以达到最佳的健康状态.
As the chief well-being officer at BGSU, it is my goal to help elevate the health and well-being of our campus community to ensure that our students, 教师 and staff have access to resources and programs that will improve their health and well-being.

本·贝特，公共卫生硕士，注册会计师, joined BGSU in July 2020 in the inaugural position of Chief 健康 Officer, created in part as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 以前, Batey worked at the Wood County 健康 Department for 10 years, where he served as health commissioner since 2014. He also held several leadership positions including CEO of the Wood County Community 健康 Center, director of nursing and infectious disease, emergency preparedness coordinator and epidemiologist. Prior to the health department, he was a registered nurse for Mercy St. Anne Hospital and Mercy Home Care. He holds a Master of Public 健康 degree from Northwest Ohio Consortium for Public 健康 (Bowling Green State University/University of Toledo) and a Bachelor of 科学 in Nursing from Mercy College of Ohio.

父母和家庭关系 is committed to enhancing each student's 学习 experience by engaging parents and 家庭 as active partners in supporting student success. 的 mission is to educate and advocate for 家庭 and provide a synergistic environment for both students and 家庭.
的 学生娱乐中心 offers expansive recreational facilities for students, 教师/staff and community members to practice active and healthy lifestyles. 虽然基础上, the SRC has enhanced the quality of life for the entire University and surrounding communities since opening in 1979.
的 健康和保健办公室 is committed to supporting healthy lifestyle behaviors through programs that incorporate all aspects of wellness. Comprehensive services include free HIV testing, online tools and assessments and educational opportunities that foster optimum health and wellness for BGSU students and the community.
